Welcome to Nashua Presbyterian Church. We are a little church community tucked in the woods just south of Route 111 in western Nashua. We have only been here 25 years and are still working at understanding what God is doing with us in this place.
This year we celebrate our 25th Anniversary of becoming a Chartered Congregation of the PCUSA.

* * * * * * What excites me about Nashua Presbyterian Church Another response to the question: 'What excites me about Nashua Presbyterian?' What excites me about this church is an interesting question. Yes, the love and caring between all of the members is exciting, and it is an atmosphere that I have never before experienced with other churches we have been members of. But, what really gets me, is the ability to express our thoughts, ideas and suggestions. We each have a voice within the church. Suggestions and ideas are not dismissed out of hand. There have been many ideas and suggestions over the years that have really started new missions.
One of those ideas was for the Deacons to start a Vegetable Garden for those within the church that did not have access or space or knowledge to do it for themselves. Would you believe that we went from a 12 ft by 12ft space to now a 40 ft by 40 ft space and additional raised beds. We currently supply between 400 and 500 lbs of fresh vegetables every year to other organizations within Nashua and a similar amount to the members of our congregation. I can’t tell you what joy I get from seeing a tiny seed grow into 5-foot-tall plants with fruit that we all can use and share. This year we grew a cabbage of about 5lbs and the smile on the little boy that took it home was enormous. It was almost like the best Christmas present ever. The smiles and expressions of thanks on the visitors to the Lil Farm Stands and our own congregation says it all. This is the joy that I receive every time someone picks up a tomato, cabbage or other vegetable and makes their dinner with them. BG
2021 Nashua Crop Walk! NPC walked away with the #1 Sock Award in the Small Congregation category.
Get to know us! We call ourselves 'The Church in the Woods' because of our love of the environment.
We are situated on 13 acres which we seek to care for creatively - having tucked the church back in the woods rather than right on the road. We have lots of gardens including multiple flower gardens, a Memorial Garden, a Blueberry Garden and a Deacon's Vegetable Garden as well as a Meditation Trail in the woods.
In January of 2014 we were first certified as a PCUSA Earth Care Congregation and we continue to do all we can to keep that certification. And in 2021 we've qualified again!
If you come to visit, we want to make you feel at home in this community, so expect someone to welcome you on your visit. We are a faith-seeking community that is eager to learn about and express God's love for the world. Some here have been life-long Christians, others are new to the Christian faith, and some are here to reconnect with their faith. We are also an accepting congregation. Nobody will care what you wear to Church, so if you are looking for a faith community, some place to be inspired, or if you feel like something is missing in your life, visit Nashua Presbyterian.
